League Costs

The cost for a Franchise in the 2002 season of The College Fantasy Football League competing for Prizes (aside from the ability to taunt your opponents when your team of 'No-Names' beats their team loaded with 'All-Americans'!) is $29.95. Additional teams in the League can be added for only $19.95 each. This cost is applied to materials and other costs of running the League (computer equipment and web site maintenance, statistics services, and staff time). 

CFFL Franchise cost includes all scoring of your team and Head-to-Head play, weekly reports of your standings and that of other teams in your Division (as well as updates from around the CFFL League), and stories from around the country concerning College Football teams and players (available at The CFFL Web site). In addition, you are eligible for Prizes (including Best record in your Division, Division Championship, Best Overall Points in Division, Best Overall Points League-Wide). All the fun of College Football, and a handful of Prizes, too!

Fees must be received prior to your team being officially Registered and placed in the Division you requested (or one that is available; see Rules for details on Division availability). When your team is Registered with CFFL.com, you will receive a "UserID" name and Password. These will allow you access to the remainder of areas of CFFL that you need to Draft and operate your team for the season.

Deadline for submission of Fees is July 21, 2002 for participation in the initial Draft. A supplementary Draft will be conducted for teams that Register afterward, as Divisions fill up (through September 1, 2002, Final Draft). Fees received by these days allow for participation in these drafts.

Early Registration Early Registration cost for a Franchise in The CFFL is $24.95 Lower Fee is available to teams that Register by July 21, 2002.
'Play For Free'  --  Any player who brings in 3 other New Owners (at time of sign-up) is not required to pay for Registration.  Just give us their names during registration and we will sign you up for free (once the named persons register for the current season).  

At time of Sign-Up, state which Division you would like to participate in, if any preference. (Names of others you know who are playing is sufficient.) If you wish to start your own Division, let us know the Name you have chosen, and we will offer entry into that Division to other teams registering afterward. (We will accommodate this, if number of registrants allows; if we are unable to complete a full division, you will be placed in an existing division. You will be notified of this, prior.)
(Note: the 'Play For Free' option is limited to one team per three teams referred by the Registrant. Multiple teams are admitted, if you refer additional groups of three teams.  you can also sign up additional teams, and receive the lower rate for 2nd and 3rd teams. )
