HOW TO PLAY

Your Team

Prior to the start of each week of the 2000 race season ("week" defined as Thursday through Wednesday) your FANTASY SPEEDWAY TEAM selects its five Drivers to be used in competition that week.  The Winston Cup points earned by those Drivers in the week's race action are assigned to your Team as FANTASY POINTS.  (Current NASCAR formula holds for Fantasy Speedway Points.)  It's that simple!  Each week you are allowed to change the lineup of your Team, to take advantage of your knowledge of the differing race tracks and the skills that different Drivers have for those tracks.  You are in charge!  If you do not submit a revised lineup before the submissions deadline that week, your lineup from the previous week is utilized to determine your Points that week.  If alternate Drivers are utilized by the actual race team (due to injury, disqualification, etc.) your Team is credited with the change in lineup as well (so Points earned by the replacement Driver are awarded to your Team).  

Don't forget about your Name!  Your Team will be tagged with it all season, so think hard on how you want to be known at the CFFL.com Fantasy Speedway.  Do you want to sound like a motorhead, or fat pocketed Owner?  Rough and tough, or smooth and sleek?  Use your imagination (just keep it clean!). 

Scoring

Points in CFFL.com FANTASY NASCAR are determined by the outcome of NASCARâ Winston Cupâ Racing.  (Points assigned by Winston Cup -- for Victories, Laps led, etc. -- are equal to Points assigned to your Team in CFFL.com Fantasy NASCAR action.)
When a Starting Driver does not make the field for that week's race, your Fantasy Race Team will earn Points earned by the Alternate Driver used in the NASCAR race.  Likewise, if a Starter is injured, disqualified or otherwise unable to continue a race, your Team will earn Fantasy Points earned by the alternate Driver utilized by the race team.

Standings

Standings are posted at the CFFL.com NASCAR SPEEDWAY site following each week's action.  Stop by to check on your Team's results and see how you are faring compared to the competition!

Cash prizes and NASCAR products are CFFL.com FANTASY SPEEDWAY's way of saying "Great Job!"  Full list of Prizes are announced prior to the drop of the Flag on Opening Day.  Stop back in the weeks before the start of competition to check on news about what our sponsors have prepared for you to Win!
