Roster Activities

CFFL league play involves three Roster Activities by owners during a season: the Draft, setting a Starting Line Up for the coming week, and player Transactions. These are described below.  (A more detailed explanation of each Roster activity provided in the Rule Book.)

Draft Board

Owners prepare for The Draft by determining the value of the top Players at each position and ranking them accordingly; then, owners list their top players at each position (Most Valuable Players first) on their Draft List, and submit the Draft List Form.

The CFFL Draft proceeds by a "You Rank Them, Then You Get Them" process. Each owner determines the twenty most valuable players to them at each position; then after random assignment of Order, the Draft proceeds by position, assigning the highest valued player available at that position to each team at the time of their Selection.

Transactions

Throughout the Season Owners can make changes to their overall  Roster by submitting a Transactions Form to The CFFL.

Owners can modify the make-up of their team throughout the Season, as they see players who are developing into stars and those who aren't performing well enough.  Dropping players and Adding players is done by submitting "Players to Drop" and "Players to Add" to the Commissioner's Office:

Starting Line Up

The Starting Line Up used by your Team for each week is submitted to the Commissioner's Office via the Starters Form.   

Each week owners draw from their 24-player Roster the group they want used (i.e., 'Starters') that week. Using the list of opponents that each player on your Roster is scheduled to meet that week, past performances and other indicators of the predicted success of the Player, owners determine their best combination of players for that week. 

Outfit yourself for the best chances at victory in Head-to-Head play and improve your Overall Points total.  Just fill out and submit the Starting Line Up Form.
