ROUND
FIVE

5.01 Todd
(MrSports.com/Skyhawk Sports)
|
| QB: |
RB:
Kretschmer, Nevada |
WR: |
| TE: |
K: |
D: |
| GM's
Analysis: 2 years ago, Kretschmer was a top 3 back in
the country as a true freshman. Last year
in game 1 of the season he went down with
an ACL tear. With a year of Rehab under
his belt look for the Nevada stud to
regain his old form and be one of the top
ten backs in the country. |

| QB: |
RB: |
WR: Edwards,
Michigan |
| TE: |
K: |
D: |
| GM's
Analysis: Love the Chance pick. Was going back and
forth with him here, so the decision was
made for me. With a long wait till my next
pick and plenty of sleeper RB left (easier
to find a 1000 yd RB than WR, I had to go
with Edwards. He is the #1 WR on a pretty
good Michigan team. Navarre really came on
last year with a 3-1 TD/INT ratio. Look
for him to get the ball to Edwards often.
When the kid changed his number to #1 I
knew he was ready to take over. He will
make a good #2 WR behind Watts. |

| QB: |
RB: Clemens,
Miami |
WR: |
| TE: |
K: |
D: |
| GM's
Analysis: With a
QB, 2 RBs, and a WR already on my roster -
I wanted to make my next pick a RB. To me,
Clemens was the safest pick here. There
are others I could have taken that may
have bigger years, but I feel (barring
injury) I have a guarantee of 1,000
rushing yards, 300 receiving yards and at
least 12 TDs in Clemens. |

|
| QB: |
RB: |
WR: Cotchery,
NCSU |
| TE: |
K: |
D: |
| GM's
Analysis: Cotchery is a tall, rangy receiver
with great big-play and leaping ability.
Rivers should be have a great year and
Cotchery will be the prime benefactor. |

|
| QB: |
RB: Russell,
Iowa |
WR:
|
| TE: |
K: |
D: |
| GM's
Analysis: There were a
numbers of guys we had in mind with this
pick. Russell finished 14th in the nation
with Brad Banks throwing all over the
field. Now, he's a safe bet to become an
even bigger part of the offense. |

|
| QB: |
RB: |
WR:
Williams,
Tulane |
| TE: |
K: |

Analysis: Really like what J.P. Losman may do this
year. Williams sat out last year after
being injured and had all that time to get
better mentally. This season he
should shine. |

CFFL.com (Mark/C.)
|
| QB: |
RB: Reyes,
Syracuse |
WR: |
| TE: |
K: |
D: |
| GM's
Analysis: We were
foiled at every turn this Round!
Each of our projected RBs went to another
Team, and now even our WR pick has
deserted us! Well, onward. We
dip into the mess of RB talent that has
the asterisk next to their names,
signifying a shared backfield -- and thus
potentially lower numbers this time
around. If he repeats 2002, Reyes is
a good pick here. 17 TDs and decent
yardage per game. If Rhodes gets
more of the TDs this time around, Reyes is
a wash. Gambling again. |

(John)
|
| QB: |
RB: Wilson,
WVU |
WR: |
| TE: |
K: |
D: |
| GM's
Analysis: Yes, another RB. The goal is to stock
up, give myself options, and be able to
cover my bye weeks well. Wilson was
a beast last year as a reserve and I
believe will thrive in the role of
featured back. |

5.10 FantasyGMs (John)
|
| QB:
|
RB: Lundy,
Virginia |
WR: |
| TE: |
K: |
D: |
| GM's
Analysis: Came on
at the end of his freshman year, and
finished with over 1,600 all-purpose
yards. Expecting him to boost his rushing
and TD totals this year, and if he catches
50+ passes again as an outlet for Schaub
I'll be happy. |
