College Football Experts League Draft

ROUND FOURTEEN

14.01 FantasyGMs (John)

QB: Vick, Virginia Tech     RB:   WR:
TE:   K: D:
GM's Analysis:  At this point in the draft I figured it was worth a shot. I felt like everybody I considered had some question marks, so why not roll the dice on Vick. I like my QB situation with Walter and Schneider, and while there are starting QB's left, any QB I took at this point probably wouldn't play much for me. Vick should see some action early on, and if he eventually takes the starting job from Randall, he could break into my lineup because of the running dimension.

14.02   FFWarroom (John)

QB:   RB:     WR:
TE: K: Siegel,  Oregon D:
GM's Analysis: Strong leg...plus he plays for a team whose offense should be good, but not great. That means plenty of FG attempts.

14.03  CFFL.com (Mark/C.)

QB: RB:  WR:  Parrish, Miami
TE: K: D:
GM's Analysis:  We have need of a WR for two weeks of the season; Miami's schedule is a nice complement, and their best fantasy talent at WR is available.  History has shown that 'Canes receivers are usually good for a few points, so he seemed a safe bet.

14.04  FantasyAsylum.com (Brian/Don)

QB:   RB:   WR:
TE: K:  D:
GM's Analysis:

14.05  CollegeFootballNews.com (Pete)

QB: RB:  WR:  Bragg, UCLA
TE: K:   D:
GM's Analysis:

14.06  College and Pro Football Newsweekly (Vic/Steve)

QB:   RB:    WR:
TE: K: Rheem, KSU D:
GM's Analysis:  We waited long enough for a kicker. Might as well take one from a team that promises to score a ton of points.

14.07  NationalChamps.net (Tim)

QB:   RB:   WR:
TE: K: Hunt-Clemson D:
GM's Analysis:

14.08 SCFL/Rotowire (Eric)

QB:   RB:    WR: Johnson, UNLV
TE: K: D:
GM's Analysis: I'm a little surprised that Johnson hasn't been picked up by now.  He had 51 catches for 793 yards and 4 TD\'s last season, but he really came on in the last game of the season when QB Kurt Nantkes took over, catching 12 balls for 132 yards.  We think he's ready to break out

14.09 RedEyeSports (Josh)

QB:   RB:     WR:
TE: K: D:  Southern Miss
GM's Analysis:

14.10 Todd (MrSports.com/Skyhawk Sports)

QB:  Schaub, UVa  RB:   WR:
TE: K: D:
GM's Analysis: Schaub threw for 3000 Yards last year and 28 TDs -- he is a 2nd Team Preseason All-Conference selection.  Coach Al Groh has a wide open attack and Schaub will fill in nicely as my #3 QB
