ROUND ONE

1.01 Todd (Skyhawk Sports)

QB:   RB: Jones, Va Tech WR:
TE: K:   D:
GM's Analysis:

1.02   RedEyeSports (Josh)

QB: RB: Sproles, KSU WR:
TE:   K: D:
GM's Analysis: As in the NFL, much debate can be made about who the best RB is, but as we all know in FF it is about stats.  KST's offense puts them up and the two guys that do it are Roberson and Sproles.  You cant argue with 1,465 yards and 17 TDs during his first season in the Big 12.  Not to mention KST's great non-conference schedule...Troy State, McNeese State, UMass, and Marshall at home to begin the year.  As a bonus, during this leagues playoffs they get Baylor and Iowa State.

1.03  SCFL/Rotowire (Eric)

QB: RB: Turner, NIU WR:
TE:   K: D:
GM's Analysis: "A yardage and TD machine, Turner should have another big year against some weak opponents."

1.04 NationalChamps.net (Tim)

QB: Roberson, KSU RB: WR:
TE:  K: D: Oregon St
GM's Analysis: I like this overall package.  He has improved his throwing ability and can get out of trouble easily. He is  a great runner in the open field and should account for many TDs on the ground and in the air this season."

1.05 College and Pro Football Newsweekly (Vic/Steve)

QB: RB:  WR: Woods, OK State
TE:   K: D:
GM's Analysis: His schedule the first month is an absolute joke.  And, he's had no trouble against the best Defense in the Big XII either.  Dominant WRs are tough to come by than any position at the college level, and by locking up Woods we've still got plenty of options to choose regarding our Starting lineup.

1.06  CollegeFootballNews.com (Pete)

QB: Harris, BGU RB: WR:
TE:   K: D:
GM's Analysis:

1.07  FantasyAsylum.com (Brian/Don)

QB: Smith, Mizzou RB:   WR:
TE:  K: D:
GM's Analysis:  The line is mammoth and more experienced this year therefore the running should be even easier for him.  Slight concern of Abron vulturing carries and TDs, but I think they know where their bread is buttered.

1.08  CFFL.com (Mark/C.)

QB: Harridge, AF RB: WR:
TE: K:   D:
GM's Analysis: We don't normally select this position in this Round. Only because of the relative parity of RBs and WRs available to us with this pick and the difference in value between Harridge and the next best QB were we convinced to go this route.  Opponents' Schedule strength in the 70 range. Last year's numbers had him on par with the four best QBs. Signs are showing he'll repeat those numbers. Safety and value is what we look for in Round 1, so we grabbed him.

1.09 FFWarroom (John)

QB: RB: WR: Williams, Wash
TE:  K:    D:
GM's Analysis: Pretty easy pick here, I think. The goal was to get one of my top WR and a top RB with my first two picks. With the attention given to QB in round one, a lot of RB fell to me. I'll be happy with whatever falls to me after 1.10 and 2.01. So the decision was to go with the number one WR on my board.

1.10  FantasyGMs (John)

QB: RB: McClendon, NCSU WR:
TE:   K: D:
GM's Analysis: The top back on my board that was available. 18 TDs as a freshman, and can catch the ball out of the backfield. With Rivers and Cothcery back they should have an explosive offense again, and I'm banking on him improving in his second year.
